Basic protection function

Starting protection: In the process of starting, only provides protection with overvoltage, undervoltage, short circuit, phase and three-phase unbalanced, start overtime without overcurrent.
Over voltage protection: When working voltage of protector exceed the set voltage for 6 seconds(default value is 260V).
Low voltage protection:When working voltage of protector is lower than the set voltage for 6 seconds(default value is 180V)
Open-phase protection:Any phase current of the motor is power off , protector will perform in 2 seconds.
Motor Shaft Lock Protection:When running current exceeds set multiple,protector will perform in 2 seconds.(default value is 4 times)
Leakage protection:When leakage current value is detected to exceed the set value by zero sequence current transformer, protector will perform in 1 second.
Short-circuit protection: When short-circuit current exceed leakage current 5 times, protector will perform in 2 seconds.
Unbalance protection:When current value difference between any two phases exceeds set percentage,protector will perform in 2 seconds.
Underflow protection: When running current is lower than set undercurrent threshold,protector will perform in 5 seconds.(default value is 0)
Overflow protection: When running current is greater than the set current value, the action time of the over-current protection turns to inverse time protection or quick break protection.
Self-start::The protector requires the user to set the start time with this function, the motor does not start communications at this time.(default value 0 is closed )
Start timeout protection:When motor start current after delay time exceeds the overflow current value(default value is 4s)
Contact capacity:AC220V/5A AC380V/3A Electrical endurance≥105次。
Contact characteristics:contact J1 close, contact J2 open, contactJ3 programming output(Be subject to shell wiring diagram)
Communication interface:SDI RS485, shielded wire, communication distance ≤1200m
Permissible error:±5%
Fission display:500cm distance less than 500cm standard configuration 80cm
Matching function:Under 200A no need to configure the transformer, more than 200 a protector need to configure 3 standard transformer 5A. For example, 400A specification needs with 400A/5A current transformer.
Communication protocol: Support self-programmed and MODBUS and various kinds of communication protocol.
Current output: Three phase current average turns into DC4-20mA signal.

Note:1、It’s advisable that transformer is fixed at the bottom of the a.c. Contactor, using screws and standard 35 mm rail installation; Three-phase line respectively go through the transformer three holes; Connect the second line according to the shell wiring diagram and check before electricity debugging.
2、AC power of protector itself should be connected ahead of the a.c. Contactor to guarantee power supply for a long time.

Current transformer

Protection device in the specification which is less than 200A and 200A does not need to match current transformer (thread) at a time, when the current specification is more than 200 a need to match three standard than current transformer, the two side outlet end of the standard current transformer, respectively, through the protection of the corresponding current transformer hole (secondary thread).

Note: the motor is less than 0.5KW, the main circuit go through the protection device to be around the line, to ensure no-load current greater than 1A.

Note: The motor power cord directly go through the standard current transformer hole, the standard current transformer secondary output line go through from the protection device current transformer wire hole directly .

+ When install and wiring, should connect according to usage of each terminal and ensure in good contacts.
+ Power supply should connect the control circuit for a long time, pay attention to whether the nominal voltage is consistent with the actual voltage or not.
+The protection value should be correct, do not set the options if not needed.
+According to the rated current value of the motor, choose the corresponding specifications of the protection device.
+Protection device with electrorheological than transformer, if the equipment or the control room need ammeter display, betterprepare anothercurrent transformer, or the phase current will be influenced.
+Communication protocol can be improved according to the requirements of customers(Please contact us about RS 485 communication software.
+Analog DC - 20mA interface output should match the connected devices.
+Different number of transformer and display part of split type cannot be used together.
